hi guys,
first of all, thanx for xbmc, its the main reason i bought an xbox, to enjoy fully of all my mp3's :d
this week i decided to fix my mp3 (tags) and add thumbs to them. to my disappointment, not all thumbs were showing up. sometimes the wrong thumb shows (a previous chached one i think), somethings the default green questionmark, sometimes even a black thumb appears.
i am using 2005-8-23 build by t3ch

first of all thanks for you answer.
1) i wasnt able to find a newer build than 23rd of august, which i am using. i hope that'll do (unless you know of certain fixes in newer versions ...)
2) i removed the files as you suggested.
(i did that using ftp when evox dash was active, xbmc was ofcourse not active)
3) i am using loglevel 0
again the thumbs are not displayed correctly.
if i ignore my folders and look at the very first mp3's then i can see that the first 2 mp3's dont have a thumb, they show up with green question mark -> ok
then the next thumb is displayed ok
then the next thumb is wrong, it is just some other thumb from some mp3 i have (i cannot see a relation)
so some thumbs are ok
some thumbs are wrong, show a wrong thumb
and it seems that a bunch of mp3's which dont have a thumb, seem to be showing the same thumb (seems to be cached somehow)

be sure to rename the directory "thumbs" and the file "mymusic#.db" to something else. both of these are located in the albums subdirectory. this will clear your database, and get rid of any cached thumbs. just rename them for now as a test but you can delete them later. (i recommend doing this from another dashboard.)
make sure that "find remote thumbs" and "enable id3 tags" are enabled in settings, my music.
