In the [LAN Settings] tab my local network is assigned as [Internet Area] at the [Area] column, why is that. This settings were autodetected by outpost. I have the latest version of outpost firewall(v.2.1(bulid 314)).
If I set manually the range of my network ip's the result is the same, but if I enter a single ip,the outpost will put it into the [Local area] zone.
What should I do. My conection to the internet is through my [lan] the server is running a Linux Red Hat OS.
My OS is Windows 2000 Pro Service Pack 4 with all the critical patches installed.

LAN settings have no Area or Internet Area options at all - all it will include is the local subnet for each detected network interface.
For specific recommendations on LAN settings check out section A of 1.You can include a screen print as an attachment in your post (best to use the GIF format for screenshots).Yes I am talking about Outpost, where can I send you a Print Screen?#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
